Born West London 1952 Studied Art at West Surrey College of Art and North East London Polytechnic Worked in East End with deprived children building adventure playgrounds for the Greater London Council Has lived and worked in Israel, travelled widely in Europe and Indonesia. Studied and worked with Craftsman Potters Association members, Michael Buckland and Denis Moore at the Greendene Pottery Studios.
